Courtney M. Lynn was adopted as an infant, raised in rural Pennsylvania.  She always had a love/hate relationship with her hair.  Her identity, her story have often been tied to her curls.  She has found a career as an educator in the corporate world, however, her passion is connecting with people from airport gates to the grocery store.  She is an advocate of  fostering and adoption and hopes to grow her own chosen family one day.  Courtney is a Coca-Cola Scholar and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Honors.
